Colive Fukuoka 2026
Ikigai Academy is a two-day school for the things people risk forgetting in the age of AI. Put down the phone and the laptop. Sit with someone whose life looks nothing like yours. Earning a living matters, and we will not pretend otherwise. These two days are for everything else that makes a life worth living. No session here is 45 minutes of listening. Every room is designed so that everyone speaks, and everyone leaves with a hint for the road ahead.

There are more conferences in the world right now than anyone can count. So we asked ourselves a hard question. Why would anyone fly to the other side of the planet, to a city called Fukuoka that most people have never heard of? We spent a full year on that question. These two days are our answer.
We cared about three things.
The first is who leads the rooms. Many facilitators are people you can only meet by coming to Fukuoka. Many of them were born and raised in Japan, a country that still looks a little mysterious from the West. What do we think about? What do we live for? You will hear it first hand, from the people themselves.
The second is a word. We do not call them speakers. We call them “Ikigai Co-Creators”. A speaker stands at the front and the room listens. A Co-Creator leads a space where everyone talks. We asked each of them to keep the time interactive, so that every person who made the trip to Fukuoka goes home with as much as they can carry.
The third is the garden. This year we are working with more local partners than ever before, so that the garden becomes a place to meet the region itself. Drink matcha. Try calligraphy. Sit on tatami and hear the stories of the land. We hope these two days feel like nothing else, anywhere.
With the sea breeze of Fukuoka around us, we hope local and global meet here, as many times as they possibly can.
With deep gratitude to our team, Co-Creators, and volunteer crew for all the work behind the scenes to bring Colive Fukuoka 2026 to life.
